Last weekend it was hot and balmy in Brighton a few of us made it down to the beach near Carats. We have not had much surfable swell for most of the winter here in Brighton and I was lucky that a mate had a SUP with him. I paddled out a few times, falling off regularly but felt like I was getting the hang of it.
Later I was lent a larger paddle board which was much more stable and soon I was moving over the surface of the water almost without looking at my feet – I can see the appeal.
