England won their first major overseas one-day tournament since 1997 as they beat Australia by 34 runs in the second match of the finals series in Sydney.

In the first round in the triangular tournament (Melbourne) yet again England vanquished their long time foe. Australia wilted to 252 all out

England cruised comfortablty to surpass the Australian score with 3 balls and 4 wickets remaining.
Collingwood topscored with 120 not out, off 133 balls, whilst Bell (65) and Flitoff (36) made good contributions.

English cricket again dented antipodean pride as our national side cruised to a 15 run win over New Zealand yesterday.
Collingwood had a cracker with the bat whilst Flintoffs frugal bowling ensured us of our rightful place in the final of the Australian Triangular Tournament.

Today English hearts were buoyed by the resounding defeat of the woeful Australian cricket team at the hands of Freddie's heroes.
Joyce, dropped twice, made 107 from 142 balls to help better by 66 England's previous best of the one-day series.
Chasing 293, Australia were bowled out for 200 in 38.5 overs, with Andrew Symonds having retired hurt on 39. Matthew Hayden was top-scorer with 51.
